Outstanding Senior in English Award
Sponsor: English Department and Academic Affairs Office
Every year the English Department honors one soon-to-graduate senior by recognizing the student's achievements throughout his/her college career. The award is given during the Spring Defiance College Honors Convocation. Family and friends are invited to the award ceremony, which includes honors given by other Arts & Humanities departments and programs.

The poetry, fiction, personal essays, and play scripts published in the literary and photography magazine of Defiance College are chosen through a jury process that includes the annual writing contest funded and judged by local professional and semi-professional writers.
